Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra named King and Queen of social media

 "Don 2" stars Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra have been crowned as the king and queen of social media by a leading Bollywood digital portal. Audience from across India and fans from Russia, UK and US voted in a poll carried out by Bollywood Life.

"There are so many people around the world who have given me love and support for many many years. Earlier, letters and cards used to be the only way of communicating and thanking them. Now social media has made life easier.. Thank you Bollywood Life and the team for this award 'King Of Social Media'," Shah Rukh, 49, said in a statement. 

For the 32-year-old former Miss World, winning the award was a dream come true. "I always wanted to be a queen. When I won Miss World I pretended I was a queen. So winning this award really made me feel like one. Thank you to everyone who voted... I am really deeply touched and very moved," she said.

Apart from the king and queen recognitions, Varun Dhawan bagged the Selfie King award and Arjun Kapoor received the Best Debut on Social Media honour.
