Selena Gomez hires Katy Perry's manager after firing parents

Washington: Selena Gomez has reportedly hired Katy Perry's manager, Bradford Cobb, after she fired her parents as she was looking for a professional to replace her mum Mandy and step-dad Brian Teefey.

The 'Come and Get It' singer ended her professional relationship with her parents, who had managed the singer's affairs since 2007, as she believed she had "outgrown them", Us Magazine reported.

Bradford has spent more than a decade in the industry and was recognized for turning artists into pop sensations.

The 21-year-old singer's parents are apparently miffed with her decision.
