SEE PICS: Sunjay Kapur and Priya Sachdev have a grand New York reception!

It was only a week ago that Sunjay Kapur and Priya Sachdev made headlines for their hush-hush wedding. While their actual wedding was close and personal, the couple did promise to hold a grand reception to celebrate the occasion and they did just the same in New York. The couple hosted a lavish affair in one of the swankiest hotels of New York for their friends, colleagues and relatives.

The couple looked wonderful together, and while Priya did leave everyone staring with her white gown, it was Sunjay's shoes that became the talk of the evening, which were hand embroidered with the words 'I Do'.

According to a guest at the reception who spoke to Mid Day, the celebrations were held at the NoMad Hotel in Midtown Manhattan and the decor was Japanese cherry blossom themed. The couple had a huge three layered cake to cut, and the bride and groom were both in a very cheerful mood. The guest also said that Sunjay proudly declared to all the guests in the room "Yes! I am doing it for the third time!"

The couple got married on April 13, 2017, a year after Sunjay Kapur's tough divorce with Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor. However, Sunjay and Priya have apparently been together for 5 years, with Priya standing by Sunjay during his divorce. Meanwhile, Karisma is also in a happy place with her rumoured relationship with Sandeep Toshniwal which, according to recent reports, could be a lot more official soon. 

We wish Sunjay and Priya a happy and blissful married life!
