Gal Gadot released a teaser poster for upcoming Wonder Woman movie and promised that even more 'wonder'ful things are in store.

On Friday, taking to the micro-blogging site, the actress who took up the responsibility of playing the Amazon Warrior in DC movies with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, shared the new image of the character.

Gadot's Diana was the saving grace of BVS with all that 'Martha' melodrama going on. (Maa Kasam, that fans of Bollywood classic Deewar had a great laugh at the expense of that scene!) Now the fans will get to see the origin story of the daughter of Hippolyta.

The movie is set during World War I. Diana has to leave her home Themyscira as the feud between men comes knocking on her doors. Apart from tackling this mess, Diana also has to fight with Elena Anaya's half-face masked evil woman and Danny Huston's German army general.

The story then will tie-in with Justice League in which she will team up with Bruce Wayne/Batman to recruit metahumans to fight an even bigger threat. That lasso and cuffs can never rest.

The movie had a lot of trouble finding its director. That seems to be the common theme with DC Universe movies. The troubles of finding a director for solo Batfleck movie are still fresh in everyone's mind. Warner Bros finally found their helmer in Patty Jenkins and from the looks of the SDCC 2016 trailer and the official trailer released in November, the movie promises as kick ass tribute to the female superhero, which seems to be a rarity in the cinematic universes filled with testosterone.

Apart from aforementioned cast members, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Connie Nielsen, Lucy Davis, and David Thewlis are part of the movie set to release on June 2, 2017.
