Scoop: Did Ranbir Kapoor choose Sanjay Dutt's biopic over Ayan Mukerji's superhero flick?

It has been reported earlier that after Jagga Jasoos, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to star in good friend Ayan Mukerji's superhero flick opposite Alia Bhatt. The film was supposed to go on floors by the end of this year. 

Earlier, rumours were doing the rounds that Ayan's film has been shelved but the director had slammed the rumours saying, "My film is on. We are looking to start shooting by end of this year.” 

However, if recent buzz is to be believed, then Ranbir has decided to begin shooting for the first leg of Sanjay Dutt's biopic soon after wrapping up Jagga Jasoos. Now, this would mean that Ayan's film will have to be pushed to next year.  Normally, with any other filmmaker, this would have been a problem but we all know that Ranbir and Ayan share a great bond and hence there shouldn't be any issue between the two for the dates.
