Scoop: Arjun Kapoor's mother changed in 'Mubarakan'!

Amita Singh, who was playing Arjun Kapoor's mother in the upcoming Mubarkan is said to have walked out of the film. Ratna Pathak Shah has stepped into her shoes, reports a tabloid. Producer Murad Khetani is quoted saying, "Amrita couldn't do the film due to date issues and we have Ratna on board. Her portion which was initially scheduled to be shot in November-December in London will now happen sometime in January. The Punjab schedule, originally planned for January, is being shot now."

Mubarakan revolves around an extended Punjabi family that attends a destination wedding in the UK. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Ileana D'Cruz, Athiya Shetty and Neha Sharma. Arjun will be seen playing a double role as Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh.
