Saroj Khan replaces Shilpa Shetty in 'Nach Baliye 5'

This week Shilpa Shetty will not be shooting for the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5. Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan will be judging the show along with Sajid Khan and Terence Lewis.

Saroj was associated with the show in the past. She was one of the judges in the last  season that was aired four years ago. A source says that though she was approached at the last minute, she readily agreed. “She was excited about being associated with a show she had judged earlier,” adds the source.

Before you think there’s a fall-out between Shilpa and the producers of the show, the reason the lanky actress has decided to keep away,  is her toddler son Viaan who is unwell.

Says Shilpa,   “In view of my son Viaan’s falling ill and hospitalisation, I was very stressed. I am grateful to Star Plus for understanding my predicament. Will miss the next week’s episode but will definitely be back on Nach Baliye soon after. Viaan’s on his way to recovery soon.”
