Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata admitted to hospital for tests

Actor Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata, who has been diagnosed with a tumour in the liver and a suspected heart ailment, was admitted to a hospital here today.

She was admitted to Global hospital in suburban Mumbai this morning.

Earlier Dr Ajay Chaughule, a senior heart and cardio thoracic surgeon and heart and lung transplant surgeon at Global Hospital, had said that she needs to undergo some tests, after which it can be decided whether a surgery is required.

"We are doing complete investigation for everything for some problems she has....There are lots of tests that she will have to undergo," Dr Chaughule told PTI today.

Sanjay Dutt, who is undergoing the remainder of his five-year jail term at Yerawada Central Jail in Pune in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, is currently out on a 30-day parole.
