Sanjay Dutt turns lyricist for a song in 'Torbaaz'

Actor Sanjay Dutt had written a couple of songs while he was in prison in Yerwada jail and now, one of his songs will be heard in the upcoming film, writer-director Girish Malik's Torbaaz. Sanju is acting in the film as well.

Apparently, the 57-year-old actor has written a couple of songs while he was in Yerwada jail. A song titled O Meri Aangan Ki Chidiya Hai Tu, caught the attention of producer Rahul Mittra, who asked the actor if they could use it in the action-thriller set in Afghanistan. Sanjay agreed and the song, which is about a father-daughter relationship, will soon be part of the film.

Writing lyrics is a first for the actor, who has earlier done playback singing for Aye Shivani in Khubsoorat, Chal Mere Bhai's title track and Samjho Ho Hi Gaya in Lage Raho Munnabhai. Now, whether Sanju baba gets behind the mic for this one is yet to be seen!
