Sanjay Dutt to work on 'Munnabhai 3' once he's out of jail

Be it Munnabhai MBBS or Lage Rahe Munnabhai, whenever Sanjay Dutt and Rajkumar Hirani have worked together, they have created magic. In the past there have been announcements of the third installment of the Munnabhai franchise, but it never took off.

Now, news is that Sanjay who is currently serving his term in the prison will start working on Munnabhai 3 when he comes out of the jail. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has produced both the Munnabhai films has promised Sanjay that they will begin the work on Munnabhai 3 as soon as he comes out.

"Sanjay is so close to me that I feel his presence all the time. Also he is extremely positive. He writes to me from the jail saying that he has got eight-packs now and he is exercising by lifting heavy buckets filled with water. My deal with him is that we start Munnabhai the day he comes out. So he keeps reminding me of that in his letters and I am trying to write that script for him," said Chopra.
