He completed his prison term on February 25, earlier this year and it looked as if he would plunge right into work, with projects lined up for him. However, it's been six months and Sanjay Dutt hasn’t begun shooting for any supposed "comeback" films. Instead, he has been travelling with Poland being his latest outing.

Even before Dutt got out of the Yerwada jail, there was buzz about several projects being cued up for him by filmmakers and there was speculation over which one he would choose first. The 57-year-old actor picked Siddharth Anand’s action movie, but later decided not to do it. He then decided to focus on another project titled Marco Bhau. This is to be the directorial debut of producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sister, Shelly. But this project is taking its time to go on floors. Eariler, it was scheduled to roll by the end of this year but it doesn't look like it will kickstart before February 2017, as per sources.

“There was great excitement in the fraternity when Dutt walked free. But sadly this has not translated into film offers for the star. Currently, except for Marco Bhau, whose story and screenplay is still being worked on, he has nothing in hand except for the long-in-the-planning Munnabhai 3. But with Rajkumar Hirani busy with the biopic of Dutt starring Ranbir Kapoor, part three of Munnabhai will take time,” a source told a tabloid.

Apparently, the reason for Dutt dropping out of Siddarth Anand's action flick was because it seemed like a mixed bad inspired by multiple Hollywood films. And baba didn't want his comeback to be a Hollywood rehash flick. Dutt had also undegone martial arts training for the action flick under Kanishka Sharma, an expert in commando close quarter combat. The actor then moved on to Marco Bhau. Dutt, however conveyed that Anand's film was not shelved and that he needed extra time to prep for action-intensive scenes. But Dutt stopped training for it later. Dutt’s spokesperson told the tabloid, “He is in no rush to sign films. He is keen to spend time with family and travel. And Marco Bhau was always slated to take off after December."
