Actor Vishal has been busy recently with his films and also with rehabilitation work in the state post the Tamil Nadu floods and rains. The actor was supposed to do the second part of the superhit film Sandakozhi with director Lingusamy.

The movie was to go on floors this month and it was touted to be a big project. Now the actor has tweeted that the project stands cancelled.

The actor was to produce the film under his banner Vishal Film Factory. It looks like director Lingusamy reneged on the project.

When dna got in touch with Vishal, he said, "I signed on Lingusamy in November 2014 for the project. They kept pushing the date as the script was not finalised. It was supposed to go on floors on 15 February but he had still not locked the final draft of the script. Then I was informed that he was opting out of the project. I got to know through sources that he had signed on another film. I don't want to get into details, but this is extremely unethical of him to pull out at the last minute. I have filed a complaint with the Producers Council and have asked that my money and expenditure since November 2014 be returned."

The project got delayed because Lingusamy did not deliver the script and now sources say he has signed another film. This seems to be the reason why he dropped the Vishal project. The director reportedly had no Tamil films on hand except Vishal's film.
