Samuel L Jackson has said that actor Harrison Ford is ahead of him in his career and that he wants to get his numero uno status back from the "Indiana Jones" star.

The 68-year-old star, who shares a positive competitive relationship with the "Star Wars" legend, talked about how he wishes to be the highest-grossing actor of all time, reported Entertainment Tonight.

"Harrison is still ahead of me because of ("Star Wars: The Force Awakens") last year. I think my assistant told me I was maybe 150 million or so behind him, but I got a chance to grab him with either this movie ("Kong: Skull Island") or ("xXx: Return of Xander Cage") is doing really well in China, so I might catch him soon," Jackson told popular talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

"The Avengers" actor also said although he ruled the box office for the past five years, Ford made one film and put him in the backseat.

"I had that title for about five years. Then Harrison made one movie and caught me," Jackson said.
