Manish Malhotra just turned 50 and Karan Johar threw a huge birthday bash for the ace designer. 'Gold and glamorous' was the theme of the party and it had the industry's who's who in attendance. But then again, there were a few who definitely missed out as well.
Here's a list of all the stars who could not make it to the party and why!
Salman Khan:
Salman didn't attend the function and his reasons are not known to anyone.
Deepika Padukone:
Deepika was busy shooting for Padmavati till late night. And Manish's party continued till 8 am in the morning. But Dippy had to get back on the sets on time. Hence, she had to skip it!
Ranveer Singh:
While DP was busy shooting, beau Ranveer was on a promotional spree in Delhi for his film Befikre that hits theatres this Friday.
Amitabh Bachchan:
He was in town. And his beta and bahu Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made sure they attended the bash! But Big B was no where to be seen. We wonder why!
Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji:
Despite being extremely close to both Manish and KJo, Ayan and Ranbir skipped the party. People say it's because they wanted to avoid bumping into Katrina Kaif but we think there might be a more logical reason!
Anil Kapoor:
Sonam turned heads in her beautiful outfit but papa Kapoor was nowhere to be seen.
Arjun Kapoor:
While chacha was conspicuous with his absence, bhatija Arjun was busy shooting for Mubarakan in Chandigarh and clearly couldn't make it!
Gauri Khan:
Shah Rukh Khan dropped by and partied till the wee hours but wife Gauri is currently out of station and hence wasn't seen at the party.
Kajol and Ajay Devgn:
Kajol's a great friend of Manish's and met him the night before at his residence. But she skipped the bash. We wonder if she wasn;t invited because of her fallout with Karan. But knowing Karan, he might have sent in an invitation. So did Kajol and Ajay decide not to come and avoid bumping into KJo? Your guess is as good as ours!
