Salman Khan will promote Shah Rukh Khan's 'Happy New Year' on 'Bigg Boss 8'

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan says he would love to have the cast of Happy New Year on his TV show Bigg Boss 8 to promote their film.

The upcoming season of the show will start from September 21 on Colors and with Shah Rukh Khan's action comedy drama film set for an October release, speculations have started that whether the Chennai Express star, will share the stage with Salman to promote the movie.

"We will do a lot of promotions of Happy New Year. The team does not need to worry. Though it is up to them if they want to come to the show or not, we will promote it," said Salman at the launch of Bigg Boss 8 here today.

The 48-year-old Kick star also joked that the promotional activity of Happy New Year has already started, with reporters asking him if he will invite Shah Rukh and others on Bigg Boss.

Salman has shown support for the movie previously also by praising its trailer on Twitter.

"Just saw happy new year ka promo. Its kick ass," the Dabangg star had tweeted.

The two superstars, who had a public fall out in 2008, have been seen warming up to each other in the recent past, from praising each other in interviews to sharing warm greetings at parties.

Salman, who is known for going out of his way to promote his friends' films, said that he will talk drunk to promote his close pal Aamir Khan's PK.

Salman had donned a hat in Big Boss's last season to campaign for Aamir's Dhoom 3, as the actor wore a hat in the film.
