The first time Salman Khan sang a song, it was for himself in Kick. After that he sang for his home production Hero, which launched Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. And now he is set to lend his voice for his buddy Randeep Hooda’s Laal Rang.

A source says, “Randeep and Salman got along famously, after they worked together in Kick. Salman then recommended his name for the role of a wrestling trainer in his upcoming film Sultan. Randeep who owns a few horses, inspired Khan to get a few horses of his own. Randeep guided him on what kind of horses to buy and about their upkeep. Now the actor who began with the two, has five horses on his property in Panvel. They have remained in touch. So when Randeep requested Salman to sing a song for his Laal Rang, which revolves around the blood donation racket, ‘Bhaijaan’ immediately agreed. The song deals with friendship, bonding and brotherhood between Randeep and Akshaye Oberoi, and has been composed by Ajay Bhatia.”

This week when Salman gets some free time from the Sultan schedule, he is expected to record the song 'Pyar Mein'. The source adds, “While the song will be picturised on Randeep and Akshaye, a small video of Salman singing it, maybe incorporated in the video. This will be used as a promotional video only and not part of the film.”
