The box office collections of Sultan continue to prove that it's Salman Khan who knows how to rule the box office with his mass entertainers. 

Although, the movie saw comparatively less collections on July 6 owing to the festival of Eid being shifted to July 7, it still managed to gather Rs 36.54 crore on opening day. Day 2 saw some increase in the collections and it minted Rs 37.2 crore. It was the collections of day 3 that made Sultan enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club with collections of Rs 31.50 crore.

These are the box office collections of working days. Over the weekend, trade experts have predicted that Sultan will definitely cross the Rs 150 crore mark this weekend. Other movies to make it to the 100 crore club within three days of its release include Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Happy New Year and Dhoom 3.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh's tweet, Sultan has broken the box office records of all the previous films of Salman Khan. Previously, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and PRDP had collected Rs 102.60 crore and Rs 101.47 crore respectively within three days. Now, Sultan with a total collection of Rs 105.34 in three days has become the biggest opener of Salman till date. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma and Randeep Hooda.
