Salman Khan's 'Kick' beats Shah Rukh Khan's 'Chennai Express'

Finally, the Salman Khan starrer film, 'Kick' which has been doing really well at the theatres, has done the unthinkable! Although it was a surety, given the way 'Kick' has performed ever since its release, this news would still anger some ardent Shah Rukh Khan fans.

The Shah Rukh starrer that was last year's Eid special release earned a whopping Rs 226.70 crore at the box office. Salman Khan's 'Kick' maintained its steady growth on Wednesday, raking in about Rs 1.20 crore taking its total to Rs 227.65 crore, thereby thumping over 'Chennai Express'.

And now with this, Salman seems to have overtaken King Khan yet another time. But it is only up to time that 'Happy New year' releases and creates some new records. 

As of now, Salman fans should be really happy and celebrate their favourite superstar's victory over arch-rival SRK. But for SRK fans, you still have your 'Happy New Year' trailer coming up in a few hours.
