As the day of verdict arrives for the bollywood star, fans take to Twitter to show their support.

A Mumbai sessions court will pronounce its verdict against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the 2002 hit-and-run-case on Wednesday.

If convicted, Salman could face upto 10 years in jail. The judgement in the over 12-year-old case, whose trial saw many twists and turns, can make or mar the career of the actor on whom ride investments of over Rs 200 crore.

Fans being fans don't care about the investments. They want to show their support to their star. Some are praying to god on twitter that Salman be spared as he has helped millions with his charity 'Being Human'. Some are saying that they will always stand strong with him forever may whatever happen.

Some optimistic fans believe that all his good deeds will save him today.

Not every tweet in the hashtag is there to support Salman Khan...

But in the end the majority who made the tag trend is of fans standing by their 'Bhaijaan'

 

After Sanjay Dutt, Salman is the second big star from Mumbai film industry to get embroiled in a high-profile criminal case in recent years. He is also facing trial in a Rajasthan court for hunting a black buck during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain.
