Salman Khan had picked Kal Ho Naa Ho director Nikhil Advani to direct his next pet production venture which is also the launch pad for Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. Now if reports are to be believed, the Dabangg actor watched few rushes of the film and has asked Nikhil to re-shoot some of the scenes.

The project, which is a remake of the 1983 film Hero starring Jackie Shroff, is already in news, due to the infamous scandal regarding  Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj's involvement in actress Jiah Khan's death. Sooraj is paired opposite Sunil Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty in the film. Salman, who has been very involved with the production of the film, has also been keeping tabs on the shoots and wants a smooth debut for both the newcomers. Since both the newcomers and their families are close to the actor, he does not want anything to go wrong with their maiden acting venture.

But in a statement released to a leading daily, Nikhil's spokesperson denied all the reports. The spokesperson also added that Nikhil had even arranged for a special screening for his film's cast and crew along with few of his friends where he showed them some footage from the film and everyone seemed to have loved it.  Good going, we say!
