Kareena Kapoor will be seen in a small cameo in hubby Saif Ali Khan's film Happy Ending. Interestingly, she plays one of his ex-girlfriends. The last time they were paired with each other in a film was in Agent Vinod (2012) And it looks like the couple who got married the same year are in no hurry to be paired together on screen again.

Ask Saif if this is a conscious decision and he says, "Not really avoiding working with Bebo but truth be told, it works for some people, for us, I would say no. I don't really want to be mean because her staff is really sweet but at the sight of them coming in, I get a little "here we go...the circus has started and the whole drama around the queen.' The oohs and aahs and the giggles and the laughs when she is getting her hair done is like is a whole production. (laughs) OK, that's a joke but seriously, some of the work we have done has been really fun...and it's fun on the set and the outdoor..I can't say that I have enjoyed working with her more than I have just being with her. And that change hasn't come after marriage. It was the same even before, even when we did Tashan."

Is the thought behind not to do more films together have something to do with avoiding working with the person and then going back home to the same person? "No. I love Bebo so much and I am so into her as a person. and I find her so fun that i is always great to be with her. I was just laughing this morning at her speech rhythm. I mean it is funny (smiles) However, we don't have a chemistry of hero and heroine. She doesn't think of me as her hero.. I mean,, she would never call me hero as a nickname...as an example I mean. Not that you should call anyone that (laughs) I can't really say if I have enjoyed acting with her more than I have being with her personally. But I do feel a certain lack of tension while shooting with her. But uses me...She recently stopped because I complained. When asked how the begum uses him he smiles, "Like when she hides behind me while taking a photo. I am a prop! Depends on what she doesn't want to show. Oh, I am going to get into so much trouble because of this now (grins)."

In a recent interview Bebo said that she has become reclusive like him. But that she has changed him too, he admits, "Yes, of course. She is a very wise girl. On one level, she has a blonde energy which is what makes her magical for me. But beneath that -- you see her eyes and her acting also -- there is a lot of stability in her. I am perhaps edgier so to speak. She gets you to do what the right thing is. because she doesn't tell you what to do. she doesn't say anything. She doesn't complain, if she reaches the point of complaining, something has gone very wrong. She would like you to know yourself. Which is an interesting approach and it works with me. And certain things are very important for her. Like family..Like what my mother is saying is kind of more important for her than me sometimes. Also, her getting close to Sarah and Ibrahim. It happened organically over time, it wasn't that overnight she was like, 'I love your kids.' Sarah and her started getting close slowly, and now looking back, I am impressed with the way it happened. and that's because Bebo has got the holistic picture of harmony very clear."

The nawab further adds that he has learnt discipline and control from his begum, "Like when to drink and when not to. what to eat, the importance of respect to work and family and I suppose I have contributed to her not to get so hyper about work. Enjoy other things in life.. I don't know if before I met her, if the moon or the sunset was as important. Which it must be. It has to be."

Can't argue with that.
