Russell Crowe has taken to Twitter to burst out against Virgin Australia after they reportedly did not allow his children to take their hoverboards on the plane. The actor ranted against the airline saying that his sons were told they could not bring the self balancing scooters on the flight as his family were going on a post-Christmas holiday.
Ridiculous @VirginAustralia. No Segway boards as luggage? Too late to tell us at airport.Kids and I offloaded. Goodbye Virgin. Never again.

However Crowe said that he was not satisfied with the response saying that demanding to know why he was not informed of the ban. The airline replied again saying that the ban was clearly mentioned in the dangerous goods section of the booking confirmation and reminder emails were sent as well. It also said that the information was sent through social media and press. It added that “We understand your frustration, however please appreciate that safety is our number one priority.”
