Kapil Sharma is definitely one of the highest paid celebrities in India today. The ace comedian who emerged as a comic star had humble beginnings but soon struck super stardom with his comic timing and his much loved show Comedy Nights with Kapil.
Kapil Sharma on Friday alleged that he was asked to pay Rs 5 lakh bribe to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for his office, and tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweets while asking if this was the "achche din" he promised. Following this, there have been several heads discussing Kapil's yearly income.
I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi

For starters, let us inform you that Kapil was also recognised by Forbes as one of the highest paid celebrities and he made it to their annual list last year. And now that he's tweeted that he pays around Rs 15 crore as income tax every year, it's won't be wrong to say that he earns way more than what we think of.
Apparently, he gets paid in the range of Rs 60-80 lakhs per episode of The Kapil Sharma Show which makes his monthly earnings to be around the range of Rs 5-6 crore itself. Plus, there are brand endorsements, his film deals and public events which he attends. So now you can do the math and calculate what his yearly income might total up to! It's definitely more than a whopping Rs 60 crore every year.
