Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg sets different challenges for himself at the beginning of every year. Earlier in 2016, he decided to build an AI, something like Jarvis in the Iron Man comic book, animation, and cinematic universe.

On January 3, 2016, he wrote on his Facebook page, "My personal challenge for 2016 is to build a simple AI to run my home and help me with my work. You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man. I'm going to start by exploring what technology is already out there. Then I'll start teaching it to understand my voice to control everything in our home -- music, lights, temperature and so on."

Looks like Zuckerberg has reached a point where he needs a voice for that AI. On Thursday, he wrote on his Facebook page, "It's time to give my AI Jarvis a voice. Who should I ask to do it?"

Several suggestions and volunteers sprung in the matter of time. But the most unexpected volunteer was Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.

Ever so charming with his whip-like wit, Downey posted a comment under Zuckerberg's status saying, "I'll do in a heartbeat if Bettany gets paid and donates it to a cause of Cumberbatch's choosing...that's the right kind of STRANGE!"

With that last comment, Zuckerberg became one of the Marvel fans. One of us!

Let's decipher the simple post.

Paul Bettany used to voice Jarvis for Iron Man and Avengers movies for Marvel Cinematic Universe until he turned into The Vision during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron

Mentioning Benedict Cumberbatch works on three levels.

First, if we look at the word 'STRANGE' at the end of the sentence, it's a promotional plug in for Marvel's upcoming movie Doctor Strange, starring Cumberbatch in the main lead, which is due for release in November.

Second, Cumberbatch is one of the most sought after performers when it comes to voicing characters, narrating documentaries and audio books because of his deep, gravelly, voice. Who wouldn't want that voice following their orders?

Third, it is being speculated, and people who have watched the 15-minute preview of Doctor Strange will agree, that Dr. Stephen Strange will take over as the wits and brains of Avengers since Tony Stark AKA Iron Man is on the down-low after the events of Captain America: Civil War. So this could be an indication that RDJ is making way for the new Marvel superhero.

Or you know, this is just a fun conversation between two successful public personalities who have millions of followers.
