Riteish Deshmukh accepts the Ghanta Award for 'Grand Masti'

Getting an award is a joyous moment for most actors, unless it’s the Ghanta Award, which takes a dig at them or their movie. Very few B-Town actors know how to take it in their stride.

But Riteish Deshmukh surprised everyone this year by turning up to collect the Ghanta Award, which his movie Grand Masti won in the ‘Anything But Sexy’ category. The actor went on the stage and said, “I never knew I would receive a Ghanta.

Thank you for the award.” None of the other actors turned up to claim their award. Till date, the only other actor who turned up to accept the trophy was Sonam Kapoor, who had won in the ‘WTF Was That’ category for Mausam in 2012.
