Richa Chadha denies rumours of her cameo in ‘Ikyawann’, calls them ‘untrue’

Several reports have been doing the rounds since Tuesday morning saying that actress Richa Chadha is all set to do a cameo in a daily show, titled Ikyawann which airs on Star Plus. The show, which stars Namish Taneja and Prachi Tehlan in the lead roles, revolves around a diffident girl, Susheel (played by Prachi). Speculations were rife that Richa will be seen giving a pep talk about physical appearances to protagonist Susheel and make her understand how it shouldn't affect her. 

But Richa, who albeit has been vociferous about body shaming and eating disorders, took to Twitter to deny all rumours surrounding her appearance on the show, and called them ‘untrue’.

Her clarification certainly caused despair amongst her fans, who were expecting to see the beautiful actress on television. Meanwhile, on the work front, Richa will next be seen in Fukrey Returns.
