Revisiting the popular sitcom 'Hum Paanch': Episode 2

After bringing you a slice from your childhood, we bring you the second episode from the famous comedy sitcom Hum Paanch.

While Beena is away to her 'maika', the entire household is on the shoulders of Meenakshi, the eldest of the crazy lot. From washing clothes to cooking food, ironing shirts to attending telephone calls, Meenakshi is tired of doing everything alone, since none of her sisters are willing to help.

Just then, enters Sakubai, their housemaid, a victim of domestic abuse 'jiske pati ne usko dus number ke Kolhapuri chappal se pita hai'. What follows is a comical battle between Meenakshi's Mahila Mukti Morcha and Saku's husband. 

At the end, does Meenakshi help Saku get her due respect? Will war win over love? In a subtle manner, with a mad cap comedy induced situation, the makers end the serial with a powerful message.
