Revealed: Shah Rukh Khan to have a kite-flying session this Makar Sankranti!

On special occasions such as Eid or his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan is known to make appearances on the terrace of his bungalow, Mannat, in Bandra (W). Now, for the first time in Mumbai, the star will be celebrating the festival of Makar Sankranti (January 14) as well.

“Shah Rukh is set to have a celebration of sorts at his Bandstand bungalow on Makar Sankranti. He usually celebrates Eid at his residence’s terrace with his fans, but this year, the actor will have a kite-flying session too,” says a source.

This will apparently be the first time that Shah Rukh will celebrate the festival with his family at his residence. “The preparations are underway. His residence is also the perfect location to fly kites, owing to an open sea view and strong wind, which attracts many people to fly kites,” the source adds.
