REVEALED: Prabhas's 'Saaho' to be shot in Mumbai

Everybody wants a piece of the Baahubali action and its star, Prabhas. What better media visibility than to link your name to his next starrer Saaho?

Heroine from home turf

While Bollywood’s top actresses are vying to land the role of Prabhas’ co-star in his next after Baahubali 2, the truth (which comes straight from the Saaho team), is that a Telugu actress will star opposite the actor.

“Prabhas feels he owes it to the Telugu movie industry to work with the local talent. Although several A-list heroines from Bollywood were considered, he has finally decided to work with a Telugu actresss in Saaho,” says a source.

The film’s heroine will be finalised as soon as Prabhas returns from his vacation in the US.

Mumbai in the rains

While  a small schedule of the film will be shot in June, we hear that come July, “The plot in Saaho unfolds in Mumbai. Director Sujeeth wants to shoot action scenes with Prabhas on  Mumbai roads during the rains,” reveals the source.

Another major schedule will happen in Abu Dhabi and then, some songs and stunts will be shot in different parts of Europe. The film will be shot simultaneously in  Hindi and Telugu, and will be wrapped by the end of the year.

It’s a quickie

Prabhas took five years to complete Baahubali. Saaho will be finished and released in six months. He wants to start a Hindi film with Karan Johar immediately after Saaho.
