REVEALED! How Sanjay Dutt REACTED to Ranbir Kapoor's brilliant transformation for his biopic

Everyone is talking about and taking in how much Ranbir Kapoor has changed physically to play Sanjay Dutt in the upcoming Rajkumar Hirani-helmed biopic. But the person most struck by the uncanny resemblance, on being shown the pictures, is Dutt himself. Last week pictures of RK, hair slicked back, a red tilak on his forehead and sporting a moustache broke the internet. Says a source, “Baba was in his van when one of his friends messaged him Ranbir’s pictures and Sanju took a moment to realise that it was Ranbir in the pictures. He couldn’t stop staring.”

But stories of the transformation don’t end there. Ranbir has not only started looking but also walking like Dutt. At a recent event, where he came to receive an award, he walked on stage with a little slouch and the typical Dutt swagger.  Adds the source, “Sanju is very close to Ranbir and it was he who had suggested to Hirani that he would be perfect to play him. Sanju even called Ranbir after looking at the pictures and praised him for the look.”   

A spokesperson for Dutt adds, “Sanjay got to know from others about Ranbir’s look as it was leaked out by the paparazzi on social media. He was told how everyone had loved it. He was stunned at the resemblance that Raju Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor worked upon and has absolutely loved it!”
