TV stars do have a huge reach since time immemorial. Thanks to their connect with the rural audience, an area where most Bollywood films cannot reach even today. And everyone has their own favourite shows and stars. While some still go gaga about Parvati and Tulsi, there are many who are more besotted by the Pavitra Rishta or Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai gangs.

Divyanka Tripathi:
She's popular because of her sweet nature and her homely demeanour - ingredients that make her an ideal on screen bahu. As Ishita on YHM, she's still getting audiences roaring for her. Divyanka earns around Rs 80000 - 1 lakhs per episode.
Drashti Dhami:
She single handedly ruled the TV scenario till a few years back. Drashti became the most popular face in telly world after her Geet was received well by the audiences. Today, she charges around Rs 60000 for each episode.
