Reema Lagoo dies of cardiac arrest: Co-star Alok Nath says it's a HORRIBLE news!

Alok Nath revealed that Reema was a wonderful actor to work with and he is too sad to even think about her demise.

Veteran actress Reema Lagoo passed away today morning and many celebrities including her former co star Alok Nath, are left in shock. Reema Lagoo's sudden death has shocked one and all. 

Lagoo was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital late last night after she complained of chest pain. But sadly, she suffered a cardiac arrest today early morning and is no more. This news shocked everyone including her fans and her former co star Alok Nath.

Alok Nath is very sad and said that it's a horrible news.He spoke to Indian Express and mourned Lagoo's death. He was quoted as saying, ''This is a horrible horrible news. I am just too sad to think about anything. She was such a fine actor to work with. This is very sad.'' The web portal added that Alok Nath switched off his phone, after that. When we tried to reach out to him, his phone was still switched off. 

Nath and Lagoo have worked in numerous movies together such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Maine Pyaar Kiya and Hum Saath Saath Hain. While the actor played the role of Babuji, Reema played the mother or samdhan. She appeared in many Rajshri movies.

Reema Lagoo also played mother to many big stars of the industry including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and others. Also, the actress was currently working in  Mahesh Bhatt’s TV show Naamkaran.

On her sudden demise the filmmaker told IE, "The sudden death of dear friend hurls one into deep silence. She was a great actor and a greater human being." 

Her funeral took place around 2 pm at Oshiwara, Mumbai and a number of Bollywood stars including Aamir Khan, Kajol, Rishi Kapoor, among others attended to offer their prayers,
