Ravi Teja's 66th film Krack was all set to hit the screens earlier this year. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film release has been postponed indefinitely. Now after seven months of the block due to the COVID-19 crisis, Ravi has resumed the shoot of Krack. Now, Ravi took to his Twitter page and made the announcement of the same with a dashing poster. He wrote, "Shoot resumes today! #Krack."

Meanwhile, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "FILMING RESUMES... #RaviTeja and #ShrutiHaasan... #Telugu film #Krack commences final shooting schedule today... Directed by Gopichand Malineni... Produced by B Madhu."

Krack also stars Shruti Haasan as the female lead along with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by B. Madhu under Saraswathi Films Division banner.

On returning to Telugu cinema, Shruti had earlier told Deccan Chronicle, "I remember we had a blast shooting for that film (Balupu), and I am hoping that we'll have it again."

She added, "It's always nice to do Telugu films. Although I am a Tamilian, Telugu audiences have always been appreciative. Moreover, my success began here. So, the Telugu industry is like my extended home."

In 2019, Gopichand confirmed that Krack is an original story and not a remake. She said, "Our film, RT 66 with Ravi Teja is neither inspired nor a remake of any film. It’s an original story based on several true incidents that happened in the Telugu States. The film showcases Ravi as a powerful cop and we will start shooting on November 14 in Hyderabad."
