Raveena Tandon's plea to Narendra Modi

Raveena Tandon Thadani has always been part of campaigns against animal cruelty. She expressed her displeasure on Twitter over the environment ministry who will be soon changing rules to nullify a Supreme Court ban on animal performance in religious festivals and sporting events like Jallikattu — a bull taming sport in Tamil Nadu.

The activist tweeted, “had hopes this government will be even more progressive. Please do NOT undo the good work done so far...” According to PETA the move would accelerate atrocities against animals as inhuman practices will get legal support. 

Raveena has often raised her voice against animal cruelty and is known for boycotting products made of animal skins.
