Ranveer Singh back in 'Padmavati': Guess who played the mediator between him and Bhansali?

Ranveer Singh has been in news for the last few weeks, following his on-off answers, with regards to Padmavati. The film that will go on floors this September was supposed to have Ranveer playing the main antagonist to Deepika Padukone's lead character. Shahid Kapoor will be playing Dippy's husband in the film. 

Soon after Bhansali approached Shahid with the film, there were murmurs that things weren't right between SLB and his protege Singh. There were also rumours that Bhansali has decided to replace Ranveer in the period drama. But now, be rest assured, Ranveer's very much a part of the film and everything's back on the right track.

Guess who played the mediator between Ranveer and SLB? Of course, beau Deepika. Dippy decided to butt in and made sure both the actor and the filmmaker have a healthy discussion and sort out their differences. And that's exactly what happened. Like they say, all's well that ends well!
