Ranveer Singh acted in 'Fanny Fernandes' free of cost for Deepika Padukone

Ranveer Singh is doing a small cameo in Homi Adajania's next 'Finding Fanny' where he plays lady love Deepika Padukone's dead husband Gabo's role. But little did anyone know that he did it totally free of cost.

Although a very short role, Ranveer willingly decided to act in the film and was the one who came up with the idea of playing the character. Homi told that Ranveer and he were having a friendly chat when the 'Band Baaja Baraat' actor came up with this idea of playing Deepika's dead husband.

The role required Ranveer to stay for half a day in Goa but he ended up staying for over a week. 

And when you are getting to spend time with the person you love, you really don't care about money, right?
