Rani Mukerji's 'Mardaani' gets 'A' certificate

Bikini-clad heroine in every film notwithstanding, Yash Raj Films has never received an 'A' certificate for a movie made under its banner. But Mardaani is going to change that. 

Rani Mukerji-starrer has been awarded an 'A' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. The certificate restricts youngsters below 12 year of age to watch the movie.

Apparently the censor board objected very strongly to a politician character’s leery declaration, “Mera shauq (hobby) rape hai.” 

'Mardaani' featuring Rani Mukerji releases on September 22.
