Rangoon: Kangana Ranaut now BLAMES Vishal Bhardwaj for chopping her 'top-notch' scenes!

Like we had told you, that post the Censor certification, Vishal Bhardwaj sat with his team and made 70 more cuts in the film, trimming the 2 hour 47 minute film by 13 minutes. Obviously, certain scenes too had to be chopped and the cuts are evident when you watch the period love saga. 

But while Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan haven't reacted to the cuts, Rangoon's heroine Kangana Ranaut has now revealed that she's disappointed. Why? According to one of her interviews, some of her favourite scenes from the film were chopped off. 

She said her 'hopes were shattered' when she heard it from the filmmaker himself. "I didn’t think (I’ll be appreciated this much) because many of my favourite scenes, which were important for my graph, were chopped off. I prepare my character’s graph in a linear pattern and when I saw the film, Vishal sir explained why he cut those scenes."

She further added, "Of course, it was a very legitimate thing to do. But when I got to know several top-notch scenes of my graph have been cut, all my hopes were shattered. I thought now my work will be so-so, it won’t be appreciated that much."

Given the film's terrible start at the box office, we wonder if this is just another ploy to avoid questions on the film's failure. Or maybe she's just preparing the ground for it? Your guess is as good as ours!
