'RangiTaranga' to become first Kannada film to release in Paris

Kannada mystery thriller RangiTaranga was a superhit in 2015. Now, director Anup Bhandari has said that the film will be released in Paris with French subtitles. 

The cinematography for this superhit film was done by Lance Kaplan and William David.  Lance Kaplan has worked in over 90 Hollywood films and has been on the crew of films like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Robin Hood, Rambo and Avatar. His recent films include Butterflies of Bill Baker, Trapped Girl, and Do You Believe in the Devil. 

Speaking to dna earlier, Anup Bhadari had talked about the film completing 100 days in theatres. "It feels wonderful. In this day and age, it is very difficult for a movie to run 100 days and, being a film filled with newcomers, it makes it even more special. We also completed 50 days in the US, the first Kannada film ever to do so. More than the number of days, it is the amount of appreciation that the audience have showered on us which is very encouraging."

Bollywood filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker had announced in September 2015 that he would be remaking RangiTaranga in Hindi. The film has collected over Rs 50 core in Karnataka alone.
