Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who will be performing for the first time with his mother Neetu Kapoor on stage for an awards show, says she is nervous and so is he.

"She (Neetu Kapoor) is very nervous... she has not performed for a while. Actually, even I am nervous and excited to perform with her," Ranbir told reporters here at the press conference of Colors Screen Awards.

"I coaxed my mother to do a nice jig on stage. We will be performing on songs picturised on my family members. I am sure she will steal the limelight," the actor said.

"I tried to get Kareena to perform for the awards this time but she was not available. She is a very talented actress," Ranbir said.
