Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma's 'Bombay Velvet' postponed to 2015

Ranbir Kapoor will have no releases this year anymore! Yes, although we were not expecting such a shocker but with 'Bombay Velvet' pushed to next year, following post-production work that remains to be completed, it seems 2014 will have no Ranbir Kapoor film hitting the screens.

Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma starrer 'Bombay Velvet' was always in the news due to its shifting release dates. The film, which was supposed to release on Christmas this year had to shift its release to November 28, in order to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan's 'PK'. 

And now, the makers have decide to postpone its release and push it further for a May 2015 release because the creators are still working on the VFX and other pre production work which will take a lot more time. 

Ranbir, then will have two huge releases next year, both during May. His thriller with Anurag Basu, called 'Jagga Jasoos' is already slated for a May 2015 release. Now with 'Bombay Velvet' also releasing in the same month, it would be double treat for Ranbir fans next year.

But for this year, his fans need to be patient and wait till he returns back on the silver screen again. 'Bombay Velvet' also stars Anushka Sharma in the lead role along with Karan Johar.
