Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Jagga Jasoos' to release on October 2, 2015?

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have teamed with Anurag Basu for his detective film Jagga Jasoos. While the Kapoor scion has already done a film with Basu, Kat is working with the talented filmmaker for the very first time. Ever project has been in the news ever since it was announced. Initially, the film was supposed to release in May next year. But then the film got pushed to August and now reports suggests that Jagga Jasoos will hit the screens only in October, 2015. Apparently, the shooting will wrap up only in March after which VFX work will begin. And once that is done, director Anurag Basu will then move on to his film’s music.

While talking to portal, a source said, “There is a lot of VFX work, which needs to be done and the shoot will finish in March. Then Anurag will start working on the music with composer Pritam. So now the makers have decided to release the film in the first week of October as the timing is good and October 2 is a long weekend.”

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s starrer Singh Is Bling was to release in the first week of October but the looks like the film won’t be finished till then. Guess that’s another why makers of Jagga Jasoos have zeroed down October 2 as the release date of their film. Also, this year Ms Kaif’s Bang Bang hit the theaters on October 2 and went on to do good business courtesy long weekend. So this date has turned out to be lucky for Katrina once, maybe it will work its charm second time as well, who knows!
