While it’s never a good reason to celebrate anyone’s bereavement, but we can’t help but feel glad about Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor breaking up. Some things just don’t feel right, and this was one of those relationships which looked set to fail from the get go. Now, we don't really know if it's true or not, given the uncertain nature of Bollywood where every relationship is like Schrödinger's cat, and where newspapers write whatever their heart desires and quotes 'sources'. Sadly, we have no sources, but here's still an attempt to explain why the Ranbir-Katrina was never meant to be!

They never looked good together
I am sorry, but despite being two extremely good-looking individuals, the two never looked good together. Where was the crackling chemistry that have defined Bollywood’s most real-life romantic pairs? We’ve made this joke before but Katrina has looked more comfortable with a fruit rather than Ranbir. Tell me, honestly, hand upon the heart, whether anyone looked at Katrina and Ranbir and said, "I want a relationship like that with my better half" or aww so cute "I wish I had that".
Ranbir and Deepika's crackling chemistry
Speaking about chemistry, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are like a house on fire. It was heart-breaking for fans. The two should never have broken up but you know life doesn’t work like that. You might meet the perfect person, but sometimes the time’s just not right. Maybe Ranbir and Deepika just weren’t ready for each other. But their chemistry was so awesome that it made us care about crappy movies like Bachna E Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Apparently, their bond is still so strong that they broke down after the shooting of Tamasha ended.
A source from the set was quoted saying, “It was the last day of our shoot and the final days do tend to get emotional for the whole unit. But this was something else altogether. Both Ranbir and Deepika broke down. We were all taken aback since these two are not known to be demonstrative of their emotions. This guy won't last forever with Deepika
Ranveer Singh is not a man who can stay committed for too long, assuming again purely on what I've read. The guy had sex when he was 12 and was even quoted saying: “I f*****d around a lot till I was 26… but I love being in a relationship. It’s the best thing ever. My whole thought process has changed. My priorities have changed. My mindset, my outlook, my world view — everything is changing. Moth******! I must be growing up.”
Now we are not judging at all, a man’s gotta make his own choices, and when they break up we sure hope Ranbir and Deepika get back together.
Difference in talent
Now this might sound rude, but who are we kidding. Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented actors of this generation, a man who can pull off an array of convincing looks. I’d go as far as to say that he’s the only one from this generation who can hold his own against the thespians of yesteryear. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif’s entire film career looks like an elongated dubsmash video. The only time she was actually convincing in a role was when she played the role of an NRI in Namastey London. This really wasn’t a relationship among equals – talent-wise.
Ranbir's parents never really liked her
For long the rumours have persisted that The Kapoors, never liked her. He was quoted saying: “A newspaper reported that she has started calling me, ‘Papa.’ Rubbish, she wouldn’t dare to take such liberties with me. Why am I always being dragged into his (Ranbir’s) private life? I’m not the sort to duck questions. As far as I’m concerned, Katrina has been very well behaved. I worked with her in Namastey London.”
Meanwhile, Neetu even cropped her out a family picture while sharing it on Instagram, and I am sorry, but no matter how you spin it, that's not good news. Katrina Kaif had tried to defend it by saying: "I was on a reality show recently with Shahid (Kapoor) and Saif and in a few pictures, Saif was cropped out. I don’t think anyone does this intentionally. I don’t surround myself with such gossip… The Kapoors are an amazing family. Everyone I’ve met is beautiful, intelligent, well-read and an amazing artist."
It seems the Kapoors didn't feel the same way about Katrina.
