Ram Charan set to dazzle the audience at IIFA Utsavam

All the south stars are going to be getting together in Hyderabad on January 24 and 25 for a special occasion. The first-ever IIFA Utsavam or IIFA awards for the south Indian film industries is going to be held on these two days.

Many actors are going to be performing on stage and Tollywood star Ram Charan is one of them. This is the first time that the actor is performing on stage and he has decided to do it on his home turf. According to sources, he will be performing numbers from his father Megastar Chiranjeevi's hit films. 

Celebrities from the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam film industries will be present and awards will be given for their work. Top south stars including Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan, Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna will be attending the event. Many actors will perform on stage and they include Shivrajkumar, Tamannah, Shriya Saran, Priyamani, Akhil Akkineni and Adah Sharma.

IIFA Utsavam will be held on two days to celebrate the films made by the south Indian film industries. On January 24, awards will be presented to the Tamil and Malayalam industries while on January 25, the Telugu and Kannada industries will be honoured. 

The proceeds from this event will be donated for relief and rehabilitation work for victims of the Chennai floods that happened in December 2015. The IIFA Utsavam was supposed to be held in December but because of the severe rains and floods in Chennai, the event was postponed to January.
