For Robot or Enthiran, Shankar shot a song in Machu Picchu in Peru with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the Superstar. For I he went to China with Vikram and Amy Jackson. And now he's off to Bolivia.

It looks like the team will first go to Bolivia to can the song and then proceed to the United States for a long shoot. The music for the film is by A R Rahman and it will be a peppy romantic that is likely to be shot in the South American country.

In the United States, Shankar will shoot in Hollywood in some of the best studios. Most of the work here will be done using motion capture technology.

One of the Bollywood films that was shot in South America was Dhoom 2. Very few films have been shot here and director Shankar is looking to bring the Indian audiences new exotic locales in his films.
