Rajev-Delnaazz quit ‘Karam Apna Apna’

 

Rajev and Delnaazz Paul, who were gung-ho about their new Balaji project ‘Karam Apna Apna’ (Star Plus), have backed out from the show as they claim their characters didn’t shape up as expected. 

 

Says Delnaazz, “All I can say is that it always happens in this industry!” While Delnaazz puts it forthright, Rajev doesn’t seem too preturbed with their decision. He says, “We quit the soap as there was no development in our track. Looking at the story’s progress, we didn’t expect some drastic change in the storyline which could shift the focus. So we spoke to our creative head and, Ektaa (Kapoor),  that since there isn’t much to do, we would not like to be a part of the show anymore.

 

Rajev further says,“Ektaa was very understanding and there’s no animosity between us, I am looking forward to working with Balaji again.” 

 

Apparently, the duo was asked to make a special appearance in ‘Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’ (Star One), but they turned it down. “We were asked to come on the show, but if I wasn’t shooting for ‘Nach Baliye 2’, we would have definitely grabbed the offer!” quips the actor.
