Rahul should suffer in jail: Pratyusha Banerjee's mother finally breaks silence

Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide last Friday and ever since then, her death has become a huge talking point in all media circuits. Passing away at 24, Pratyusha went too soon. Many of her friends alleged that it was her troubled love life which drove her to take this extreme step. 

Some even claimed that Pratyusha's boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh supposedly tortured her and even assaulted her in public. Friends Vikas Gupta and Kamya Punjabi came out and spoke about the whole incident. "Why will there be cut marks on her face if she committed suicide?" was Vikas' question to the public. He also said he has video proof of Rahul slapping Pratyusha in a public place. 

All this while, Pratyusha's mother remained silent. Rahul's dad also alleged that Pratyusha was tired of her parents and wanted to file a case against them for financially draining her. In her first ever interaction, mom Soma Banerjee has blamed Rahul for her daughter's death. "He(Rahul) should not get out. My daughter should get justice and I would like to appeal to the entire nation to help me seeking justice for my daughter. He tortured my daughter a lot and finished her," she told reporters. 

When asked what punishment he wants for Rahul, she retorted, "He should be kept alive in jail and made to suffer for his entire lifetime.”
