Raees vs Kaabil: Decoding the SRK-Hrithik clash mystery

Shah Rukh Khan’s late night visit to Rakesh Roshan’s house is being called a “friendly meeting”, but everyone believes it was about SRK checking about the possibility of the Roshans delaying Hrithik-starrer Kaabil to give way to Raees. 

Rakesh dismissed the talk saying, “What is there to change? We have announced the date earlier, but we are all friends and we will sort it out.” Which frankly is neither here nor there! 

Bitchy actress called to say, “On the one hand, he says he is not moving the film and on the other he says we will sort it out. Isn’t that mysterious? But I know what he means by that. If Hrithik’s Mohenjo Daro is a big hit, he will not budge Kaabil from its scheduled release date January 26, 2017, but if the upcoming period drama doesn’t do well at the box office then he will not take on Shah Rukh Khan and move his film to avoid a clash with Raees.” Now, that’s a smart strategy.
