Sufi musician Rabbi Shergill and Palash Sen of pop-rock band Euphoria are coming together for a music concert to raise funds for the cause of animal welfare.
The event is being hosted by one of contry's oldest NGOs for animals - People For Animals, which has been founded by Union Minister Maneka Gandhi.

"Every year we do one fundraiser to raise funds for People for Animals because we have 36 hospitals to run, for that we have organised a musical concert at Mavalankar Auditorium with artists, Rabbi Shergill and Euphoria to collect funds," Gandhi said.

Sen who fronts Euphoria said "I'm banking on all the love that the Euphoria fans have always showered on me and the support that Maneka ji and her team have extended and I know we will Dhoom together."

One of the pioneers of the pop music in the country, the band is best known for its song, Maeri which also featured Bollywood actress Rimmi Sen. Indie singer Shergill, who shot to fame with his 'Bulla ki jaana' song around a decade ago said he is honoured to help out for a cause and will be playing before a unique collection of animal lovers. "The sum total of the surrounding energy influences me. I derive my inspiration from everyday life, instances, news and people," he said.
