On the home front, she did Dil Dhadkane Do, Bajirao Mastani, and Jai Gangajal. It was announced on Tuesday that she will be leading lady of Salman Khan's next titled Bharat. She is also part of Sahir Ludhianvi's biopic titled Gustakhiyan.

She also has to look at her production company, Purple Pebble Pictures. This means travelling back and forth between New York and Mumbai. Desi Girl Chopra obviously doesn't mind. She told Vanity Fair, "I go where my work takes me. When you want something bad enough, you find a way of doing it. And I want the world."

So what's the toughest thing PeeCee had to do when she moved to the western hemisphere for work?

"The hardest part of starting work in America, after having an almost 15-year career elsewhere was to have to walk into a room and introduce myself,” Priyanka Chopra told the magazine.
